5 Clean Fonts for Website Design
Mar 24, 2009 General, Graphics Design, Website Setup
This week we’ll discuss some Fonts that are clean for website design and best of all, FREE. How about 5 of them?
The first that I like is Lois Ann font. This font goes very smoothly from one letter to the next. It has a long and lean design to it that gives it that elegant look.
The Aldo font has the clean but unique horizontal lines that that slant up while the top and bottom of the letters are rounded.
The Eurofurance font has that tall and lean look with the squared off corners. This one has various versions of it and is compressed into a zip file.
The Asenine font is short and fat design. It has the thin, clean lines with smooth, rounded corners. This font also includes multiple variations and is included in a zip file.
The Opticon Font has the very round rounds, and very square squares.
Download them, try them out and enjoy.

CSS Tools for Website Developers
Jan 18, 2009 Graphics Design, Website Development
This weeks’ tips are all about CSS, (stands for Cascading Style Sheets), in our Free Resources page.
The first couple are to create rounded corners for boxes in the website. They are extremely easy to use and come in very handy for those that don’t know how to write the code from the top of their head.
The third is CSS menu creator to allow you to have fly out or down tabs. I haven’t used this one and I’ll have to admit, it does have a bunch of fields for values to input. But it does look interesting.
The last one is as simple as the first two. Just select the colors, fonts and sizes and it gives you a real time preview of how the form looks. Click on the “Your CSS” button and it allows you to download the stylesheet to your computer.
