SEO Cheat Sheet
Jul 24, 2009 SEO, Website Setup
I was speaking to my friend, Chuck, earlier today about SEO. He has a great site about bidding for tattoo graphics. Feel free to check it out, CreateMyTattoo.com. If you are a graphic designer, you really should sign up for his site. It costs you nothing and you can make some pretty decent money if your art is chosen by the individual requesting the tattoo design.
Anyway, we were talking about SEO and getting more traffic to his site, when I came across this cheat sheet, later that day, that he may use and felt I should share with others.
It’s a two page PDF from the SEOMOZ.ORG website. It has a great breakdown of important SEO HTML tags, Search Engine Indexing Limits, Recommended Title Tag Syntax, Common Canonical Homepage Issue and 301 Redirect for Apache.
The second page adds Important Search Engine Robots, Common Robot Traps, Robots.txt Syntax, Robots Meta Tag, and the Sitemap Syntax.
So, if you want to increase the traffic to your site, download The Web Developer’s SEO Cheat Sheet and apply it to your site for the best results.
