Thanks so much for the quick reply and comments about the Flip. I figured I’d try it out after my Sony mini DV crapped out and needed something really simple to use and post online for my wife to use. Not to say that she’s not capable, it’s just that she’d rather just push a button – record and she’s done.

I’ve haven’t, yet, played around with software to edit video. I have the Adobe CS4 Master Collection but wonder if it’s overkill to edit some simple movies. What do you use for your editing?

One comment on your plan to get the Flip – is your DSLR too bulky to always carry around?

The reason I ask is that I used a Flip for a while, but found that the audio was poor beyond a few feet, and pretty much any digital camera had equal or better video.
